Credit Cards No Credit Check

by

Credit cards with no credit checks sound to good to be true. They do exist, but they may not be as appealing as one might hope.

One credit card offer with no credit check is New Millennium Bank Platinum Visa and MasterCard. They claim to have no credit check and can be approved with a past bankruptcy, with a credit line up to $10,000. The catch: the card is secured, so you will need to make a deposit equal to your credit line. This card also comes with a not so appealing $99.95 processing fee and a $59.00 annual fee.

The second credit card offer with no credit checks is Horizon Gold. They claim they will issue a unsecured credit card with no credit check and no employment check with a $500 credit limit. However, this card comes with a one time account validation fee of only $45.00 and a recurring regular monthly participation fee of $14.95.

Another company that has credit card offers with no credit checks and no employment checks is USA Gold Shopping Card. This merchandise credit card offers a appealing $5000 and up unsecured credit card, regardless of past credit. The catch is that it comes with a membership fee of $149.95. To make it even less appealing, you can only use the credit line to purchase goods out of their merchandise catalog which you can't even view until you send in your membership fee. This leads us to believe that the merchandise in their catalog is of low quality or just extremely overpriced, if not both.

When you are shopping for a credit card, it’s wise to compare fees, charges, interest rates, and benefits. Some credit cards that look like a great deal at first glance may lose their appeal once you read the terms and conditions of use and calculate how the fees could affect your available credit.

In conclusion, consumers seeking no credit check credit cards because of no or bad credit should always read the fine print before accepting any credit card offers.
