Re: Unauthorized Credit Report Inquiry
Dear Capital One,
I recently received a copy of my Trans Union credit report file. The credit report showed a credit inquiry by your company that I do not recall you authorizing. I understand, under my rights, you do
not have permission to add an inquiry on my credit file unless I gave you authorization. I request that this inquiry be removed from my credit file.
I am also requesting you to forward me the documentation that you have had the unauthorized inquiry removed from my credit file.
If you find that I am incorrect on the above matter, then please send me proof to the address above.
